Now hiring: we are hiring an ironing operator in Dandume, Katsina State. The job is at a textile finishing unit. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Day to day you will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics.
