Urgent requirement: nursery worker (Cross River State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a nursery worker in Ogoja, Cross River State. You will work in a botanical garden. You should have: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers Day-to-day duties: • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
