Banksman — Limestone County

Now hiring: we are hiring a banksman in Limestone County, Texas. On a typical shift you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
