Join our team: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Dawson County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work 4+ years on the tools preferred. $17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
