Banksman — Spokane County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a banksman in Spokane County, Washington. On the job you will handle: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads What we are looking for: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Six days a week, one day off.
