Cnc lathe setter — Monroe County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Monroe County, Indiana. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Day to day you will deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; write and edit G-code programs at the control; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles. Ideal candidate: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
