Now hiring: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Bedford, England. The job is at an open-cast mine. On the job you will handle: • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid Requirements: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels Pay around £16 per hour, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
