Urgent requirement: groundsman (Zamfara State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundsman in Gusau, Zamfara State. You will be based in a residential garden complex. Your main tasks: • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers Requirements: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance 3+ years on the tools preferred.
