What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings The role involves fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
