Immediate opening: we are hiring a prep cook in Casey County, Kentucky. On the job you will handle: • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down Ideal candidate: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
