Immediate opening: glass and glazing technician (Jigawa State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Guri, Jigawa State. The job is on a construction site. Day to day you will fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves 5+ years on the tools preferred.
