Vacancy available: we are hiring a retail butcher in Custer County, Colorado. On the job you will handle: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Part-time with flexible hours.
