Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Smyth County, Virginia. The job is in a residential garden complex. Ideal candidate: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules Day to day you will water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed.
