Tandoor cook — Bureau County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tandoor cook in Bureau County, Illinois. The job is in a catering banquet kitchen. Your main tasks: • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces Ideal candidate: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Strong knife skills and speed on the line Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
