Great opportunity: head baker (Jigawa State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a head baker in Gwaram, Jigawa State. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Food handler / hygiene certificate Your main tasks: • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
