Immediate opening: wood machinist (England)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a wood machinist in Hartlepool, England. The job is on a commercial fit-out site. You will install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours. Ideal candidate: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Six days a week, one day off.
