Milling machine operator wanted in Douglas County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Douglas County, Oregon. On the job you will handle: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control You should have: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls 3+ years on the tools preferred.
