Track-type tractor operator wanted in Sullivan County

Join our team: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Sullivan County, Indiana. You will be based on a dam or embankment job. On a typical shift you will follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; refuel the machine and record running hours. Requirements: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
