Join our team: we are hiring a wood machinist in Cass County, Illinois. The job is on a residential housebuilding project. Requirements: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Good eye for detail and a clean finish You will check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails.
