Great opportunity: port container crane operator (Indiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Steuben County, Indiana. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Day to day you will follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL). At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
