Formwork carpenter — Potiskum

Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Potiskum, Yobe State. You will work at a shopfitting company. The role involves: • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring You should have: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Full-time with occasional weekends.
