Long-haul driver — Douglas County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Douglas County, Oregon. The role involves: • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Confident with manual handling and load securing Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
