Now hiring: we are hiring a rigger in Jack County, Texas. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. The role involves establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; read lift plans and method statements before starting; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
