Lawn care technician — Sutton County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lawn care technician in Sutton County, Texas. You will be based in a botanical garden. You will sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings. What we are looking for: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
