Press shop operator • Ibarapa East, Oyo State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press shop operator in Ibarapa East, Oyo State. The job is in a sheet metal stamping unit. On the job you will handle: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean Requirements: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses 6+ years on the tools preferred.
