Now hiring: we are hiring a brick mason in Agaie, Niger State. You will be based at a residential building site. The role involves cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge. Requirements: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) ₦290,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
