Tower crane operator • Grady County, Oklahoma

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Grady County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Current medical and eyesight certificate Day to day you will set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure.
