Great opportunity: canteen cook (Oyo State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a canteen cook in Lagelu, Oyo State. The job is at a roadside dhaba. The role involves prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies Six days a week, one day off.
