Great opportunity: we are hiring a roofing technician in Ogle County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates; solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets. Ideal candidate: • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
