Press shop operator wanted in Akamkpa

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press shop operator in Akamkpa, Cross River State. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. ₦170,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
