Immediate opening: laundry presser (Imo State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a laundry presser in Isu, Imo State. You will work at a textile finishing unit. The role involves: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
