We are recruiting: we are hiring a baker in Ikeja, Lagos State. You will work at a cake shop. Day-to-day duties: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds Requirements: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen 3+ years on the tools preferred.
