Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Linn County, Iowa. The job is in an open-cast quarry. Requirements: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence Day to day you will track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up.
