Gardener — Sheffield

Join our team: we are hiring a gardener in Sheffield, England. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Day-to-day duties: • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. £105 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
