Your main tasks: • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules Ideal candidate: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips 2+ years on the tools preferred.
