Urgent requirement: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Bauchi, Bauchi State. Requirements: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) Day-to-day duties: • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter Overtime paid at a premium rate.
