Milling machine operator wanted in Kankakee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Kankakee County, Illinois. Day to day you will load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed. You should have: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery 4+ years on the tools preferred.
