Great opportunity: we are hiring a counter butcher in Tarauni, Kano State. On the job you will handle: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Six days a week, one day off.
