Groundsman — Nassarawa

Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundsman in Nassarawa, Kano State. Your main tasks: • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Performance bonus on top of base pay.
