Blocklayer • Orlu, Imo State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a blocklayer in Orlu, Imo State. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. Day to day you will mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
