Day to day you will check back during the meal and handle special requests; handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager; pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left; upsell starters, desserts and beverages; polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place. What we are looking for: • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Willingness to work weekends, evenings and split shifts Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
