Join our team: ironing operator (Oregon)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an ironing operator in Clackamas County, Oregon. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. Day to day you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 2+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
