Immediate opening: brick mason (Uttar Pradesh)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick mason in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh. The job is on a new-build development. Ideally you have able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently; reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets. Day-to-day duties: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge Rotating shifts.
