Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Monguno, Borno State. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Day to day you will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
