Automotive paint technician • Collin County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Collin County, Texas. You should have: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns The role involves: • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
