Join our team: we are hiring a cake decorator in County Durham, England. Day to day you will pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; score the top of loaves before baking; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
