Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Reading, England. You will be based on a structural steel site. On the job you will handle: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
