VMC operator — Reading

Now hiring: we are hiring a VMC operator in Reading, England. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience On the job you will handle: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines Rotating shifts.
