Immediate opening: we are hiring a 360 excavator operator in Edgar County, Illinois. You will work at a road and highway construction project. Your main tasks: • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter You should have: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence Rotating shifts.
