Now hiring: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Elbert County, Georgia. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
